This summer will be a big one for the Air National Guard’s primary campus for training and education in East Tennessee. The I.G. Brown Training and Education Center will celebrate its 50th anniversary as an organization with a morning celebration, scheduled for July 20; notwithstanding, there's an NCO Academy Graduate Association celebration banquet in the works the night prior, on July 19.

Since its first students in 1968, TEC has become the campus for enlisted and officers learning and developing their leadership and professional practice in the Air Force. TEC held on to its vision - from NCO academy to Airmen Leadership School, from officer seminars to officer commissioning, from continuing education to satellite distance learning – throughout its history. TEC is highlighting each decade on its public website in a monthly feature series. The Air Guard History Office will additionally release TEC’s official historical account later this year. Moreover, the significant events on the 19th and 20th feature guest speakers, music, a campus tour and more.

Join the Air Guard and TEC throughout the celebration with alumni, faculty, and staff, as well our community, supporters, and families.
