Airmen of each NCO academy class are selected as the guidon bearer for their flights and undergo training during the first week of class. The guidon bearers for class 15-6 underwent training here, Aug. 24, 2015, at the I.G Brown Training and Education Center and practiced those skills last week during the class' first formal retreat ceremony.

Guidon training covers various topics such as guidon components, walking with and carrying the guide, standing at parade rest and attention, and saluting.
