MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. -- Public Affairs professionals and wing executive officers from multiple states attended the Air National Guard Public Affairs Managers Course here July 21 - August 1 to learn from the best in military public affairs practices. That included guest speakers from the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center, the Pentagon and the National Guard Bureau. However, it also included civilian professionals from the City of Knoxville, its fire department, downtown visitor center and a live radio show called "The Blue Plate Special."
