TEC acclaims Hawk, Gomez as quarterly performers

MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn -- The I.G. Brown Training and Education Center announced the Outstanding Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter and the Civilian of the Quarter.

Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter is Tech. Sgt. Angelo Gomez.

Gomez is an active-duty, enlisted professional military education instructor assigned to the Paul H. Lankford Enlisted PME Center.

Civilian of the Quarter is John Hawk.

Hawk is assigned to the Media and Engagement Division as a creator of advanced distributive learning products for the Air National Guard.

Col. Jessica Meyeraan, TEC's commander, announced the awardee's names, June 19, in an email.

"Their accomplishments and contributions during the second quarter have earned them this distinction," said Meyeraan. "Thank you, and congratulations."

Quarterly awardees receive recognition and an award plaque at the next commander's call, as well as other accolades.
