MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. -- Eight flights of U.S. Air Force Airmen enrolled in NCO Academy Class 22-1 took their class photos outside in the fall air yesterday, October 19, at the Lankford Enlisted Professional Military Education Center in East Tennessee.

NCOA is a six-week course that further builds upon the leadership skills needed as Airmen progress to mid-career status, and it is an accredited course by the Community College of the Air Force.

EPME flight photos have not been taken outdoors in recent memory, possibly since the '90s. The full, in-resident class was also the first on the campus for NCOA since EPME went all virtual during the pandemic. The Lankford Center is steadily returning in-resident classes.

The students will graduate at a closed ceremony scheduled for November 5. The event will broadcast live for family, friends, and units on TEC’s social media accounts on Facebook @ANGTECTV and TEC TV’s VIMEO account https://vimeo.com/event/545519.
