Awaiting Earth Day on campus
The natural environment is a part of campus life at the Air National Guard’s I.G. Brown Training and Education Center, April 21, 2017, in east Tennessee on the day before Earth Day. Earth Day is a global celebration and promotion of the environment and climate. It was first celebrated in 1970 in the United States. Officials credit it to the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency and the Clean Air, Clean Water and Endangered Species Act. The Earth Day 2017 theme is Environmental and Climate Literacy.
