Pass and review
MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. – U.S. Air National Guard Maj. Gen. I.G. Brown, first Director of the Air National Guard, reviews the students at the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center during a ceremony on the flight line here. The Center has since graduated nearly 35,000 Noncommissioned Officer Academy students as well as nearly 20,000 Airman Leadership School students since 1968. The Center was dedicated in Brown’s name, and it had long been his dream to establish an academy within the Air National Guard. He envisioned a center located on an Air National Guard base and staffed by Air National Guardsmen. (U.S. Air National Guard file-photo/Released)
