MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. --   Twenty-nine medics, firefighters and aeromedical Airmen from Air National Guard units across the nation met here at the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center, Jan. 13 to Jan. 17, for their Emergency Medical Technician Refresher Course.

The five-day course was a consolidated revisit of the Basic EMT specialist course. It is required to meet regular retraining requirements for EMT registration. It covered medical techniques common to all practicing EMTs.
