Instructor Certification Program, Class 2014-2

MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. - Twenty students and their instructors take a break from the classroom Jan. 14, 2014, for a Class 2014-2 photo in the U.S. Air National Guard Instructor Certification Program. The two-week ICP here at the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center, Jan. 6 to Jan. 17, prepared the professional military education instructors to develop lesson plans, analyze student needs and give informal lectures and demonstrations as well as provides training in the philosophy, methodologies and practice of the Instructional Systems Design model. Training included how to design educational academic or criterion objectives and student materials and teach using different methodologies. The students developed evaluative instruments such as multiple choice test questions and performance evaluations to ensure educational objectives. Students also analyzed test data, participated in student counseling sessions and provided effective feedback to other students in the course. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Mike R.
