Chief Master Sergeant JESSE E. BALL

Chief Master Sgt. Jesse Ball is the Chief of the Training and Education Center University at the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center, McGhee-Tyson Air National Guard Base, Tennessee. He leads a staff of 18 personnel who support effective communications in public affairs and provides Total Force training through focused strategic communication, enabling video production, broadcast, instructional development and delivery. Chief Ball oversees worldwide broadcasts of educational training and provides oversight of the Air National Guard’s premier $7 million television production studio.      

 

Chief Ball entered the Air Force in May of 2006 and graduated from the Fuels Apprentice course in September of 2006. During his career, he has held a variety of fuels and educational positions. Chief Ball served as a Fuels Distribution Operator, Fuels Facilities Technician, Fuels Laboratory Technician, and Fuels Support Supervisor at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina. He then held the position of Fuels Laboratory Instructor at Fort Lee, Virginia and Fuels Technician at McGhee-Tyson, ANGB, Tennessee. Previously, Chief Ball was an Enlisted Professional Military Education Instructor at the Paul H. Lankford EPME Center, McGhee-Tyson, ANGB, Tennessee where he taught Airman Leadership School, Non-Commissioned Officer Academy and served as ALS Superintendent. He then served as an Instructor and Curriculum Developer at the Training and Education Center University, McGhee-Tyson ANGB, Tennessee where he developed and delivered professional development courses and instructed the Air National Guard Instructor Course.  Prior to his current position, Chief Ball served as Deputy Commandant at the Paul H. Lankford EPME Center, McGhee-Tyson ANGB, Tennessee where he was responsible for managing the academic accreditation, daily operations, scheduling, instructor qualification, manpower, student academic experience and strategic planning for the Air Force’s Largest Total Force EPME Center.

Chief Ball has also served in support of Operations Noble Eagle, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and New Dawn.
