Master Sergeant AMY M. ROBINSON

Master Sergeant Amy Robinson is the 237th Intelligence Squadron (237 IS) First Sergeant, Tennessee Air National Guard Base (ANGB), Nashville, Tennessee. She is responsible for ensuring the military and family readiness for the Airmen of the 237th Intelligence Squadron. She provides leadership and direction to both full-time and traditional military intelligence and communications personnel. She assists both her commander and the commander of the 118th Intelligence Support Reconnaissance Group by managing programs specific to the morale, care, good order and discipline of the Airmen under her umbrella.

MSgt Robinson enlisted in the United States Air Force in March of 1998 as a Security Forces Member. After she graduated from Security Forces technical school, she was stationed at two bases and completed several deployments and temporary duties in the Air Force and then palace-chased while stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base. She joined the Air Force Reserve in June 2006 continuing to work in her active duty capacity. She managed the Base Access Program until moving to the 477th Fighter Group in October 2007 on a new adventure to stand up the first F22 Squadron for the Air Force Reserves in Alaska. Her versatile skill set and ability to transition were significant in setting up programs for Airmen and their families under the Air Force Services umbrella. After initializing the programs, she returned to Security Forces in February 2008. While serving with the 176th Security Forces Squadron (SFS), she was instrumental in increasing the readiness and quality control inspection measures for the Airmen. Her efforts were integral exceeding the Operational Readiness Inspection guidelines for the Alaska Air National Guard.

She’s been deployed in support of contingency operations numerous times for OPERATION SOUTHERN WATCH, OPERATION BALANCE PISTON, OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM, and OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM, with more than 400 days spent overseas. She served as first a Squad Leader and then the Operation’s Superintendent for the 118th Security Forces Squadron from 2016-2020. Additionally, she began a civilian career in Federal Law Enforcement in August 2001- April 2023. She transitioned to Logistics and currently works for the Military Division of American President Lines. She is active in the community, providing response capability for her church during services and special events. Prior to her current position, the master sergeant was the Additional Duty First Sergeant for the 237th Intelligence Squadron, 118th Intelligence Support Reconnaissance Group, Berry Field Air National Guard Base, Tennessee.
