Brown Air National Guard Training and Education Center McGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. -- The staff and students of The I.G. Brown Air National Guard Training and Education Center joined hundreds of service members on Briscoe Drive in an honor cordon to pay tribute to a fallen soldier, July 7, 2010. Army Pfc. Robert K. L. Repkie, 20, of Knoxville, died June 24 at Forward Operating Base Farah, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained from a non-combat related incident. He was assigned to the 782nd Brigade Support Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C. He will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
