Brown Training and Education Center, McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, march in the Veterans Day Parade in downtown Knoxville Nov. 11, 2008. After 38 years and more than 14,600 officers commissioned, AMS moved the six-week course to Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., in 2009 to form a partnership with the Air Force's Officer Training School.
