Old Lankford Hall
MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. – A photo shows the early Lankford Hall here, named after the Center's first deputy commandant, Chief Master Sgt. Paul H. Lankford. The I.G. Brown Training and Education Center began a $9.5 million construction project in the late ‘80s for its current Lankford Hall dormitory building, Morrisey Hall classroom building, a multi-purpose building and multi-media building, which were dedicated in October 1991. Additional construction began that fall of three more dorms, an administrative building, a drill pad and running track, making what is today’s modern campus.
