A POW experience
McGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. - Retired Air Force Capt. William A. Robinson, the first enlisted POW of the Vietnam War, talks to 267 NCO Academy students in Spruance Hall on the campus of the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center here, April 2, 2013. Robinson is a member of the American Ex-Prisoners of War, Smokey Mountain Chapter, East Tennessee. The charter is a not-for-profit, congressionally-chartered, veterans’ service organization representing former prisoners of war and their families since April 14, 1942.
