Track Resurfacing
A close up of the starting point. Rob Haynes, track striper for a local contractor, paints the five lane lines of the running track at McGhee Tyson ANG Base. Haynes spends more time planning and plotting his route around the track than he does painting the stripes. “It takes some time to get the layout done. You’ve got to make the curves and the straightaways and to get your curve measurement, you operate off PI.” (U.S. Air Force Photo by 2nd Lt. Nathan Wallin)
