Airman Leadership School

MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. - An Airman Leadership School class performs a retreat ceremony outside Patriot Hall, July 18, 2012. Today's ALS was first taught on campus in 1991 and returned again in 1999 after a hiatus, but it really began as the NCO Leadership School in 1970 and is also tied to 1988 as a NCO preparatoy course.
