HD learning
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - About 50 Army National Guard Soldiers at the National Guard's LaVern E. Weber Professional Education Center here train through a live HD broadcast with U.S. Air Force Maj. Gabe Johnson, deputy commander of the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center (on screen). Officials say HD provides a distinctive 16 x 9 ratio for wider displays, as well as crisp images on large screens, which are better suited for larger audiences and add a feeling of realism.
