Smooth around the edges
McGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. - A construction crew member smooths the edge of the concrete floor pad while other members pour and distribute around him here May 15, 2015. Crews started pouring the pad at 4 a.m. to allow the concrete time to set and cure more efficiently before the afternoon warmer temperatures. It will take 17 truckloads of cement to complete this pad on the ground floor of the classroom facility. The new TEC dormitory and classroom facility will contain approximately 47,000 square feet of additional space on three levels and two levels with ten 20-person and two 100-person classrooms, HD audio/visual capabilities, wireless capability, 97 single occupancy dorm rooms, energy efficient natural and led lighting, hearing and mobility accessible accommodations.
