126th Engineer Company, Idaho Army National Guard, operate heavy equipment to build a hasty fighting position for protection against simulated attacks during a battlefield training exercise at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, California. More than 5,200 Soldiers from 11 states' National Guard units, the U.S. Army Reserve and active duty U.S. Army soldiers are participating in the exercise. Story by Sgt. Amy Elker.
