MCGHEE TYSON AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Tenn. -- Students enrolled in the United States Air Force Noncommissioned Officer Academy, Class 19-4 seemed in good spirits during their flight photos Thursday morning.
They were at the midpoint in their studies at the I.G. Brown Training and Education Center located on McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base in East Tennessee. Their graduation is scheduled 9 a.m., EDT, May 14, and broadcasts live on Facebook, @ANGTECTV.
The enlisted professional military education class has 13 flights, consisting of regular Air Force, National Guard, and Reserve Command Airmen and is instructed through the Chief Master Sergeant Paul H. Lankford EPME Center. The center is the Air Force’s longest continually running EPME.
NCO Academy is a six-week course that further builds upon the leadership skills needed as Airmen progress to mid-career status.
